Infrastructure Solutions Managing Director

Business performance 

• Develop (together with Group functions) and direct the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that the company complies with all health and safety and other statutory regulations as well as applicable Group policies.
• Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate Infra Solutions’ budget achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities – always ensuring strong cash generation
• Identify and deliver synergies through sharing of best practices and integration of common support functions and tools (BIM, IT infrastructure…) to deliver an improved profitability for the segment
• Working closely with regional teams, ensure a high degree of utilisation of engineering workforce, securing the company’s profitability. Actively manage EBITDA and cash generation
• Establish and maintain effective formal and informal links with major customers, relevant government departments and agencies, local authorities, key decision-makers and other stakeholders generally

   

  People Management 

• Guide and inspire teams and encourage collaboration across all business units. Assign short, medium and long-term objectives and ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities.
• Define and support Integration planning, and identify opportunities for collaboration.
• Oversee alignment of procedures and processes, ensuring the buy-in from key individuals across both businesses
• Drive cultural and behavioural changes within the to ensure alignment, enhance efficiencies and productivity without compromising on the quality of work or introducing risk that could impact upon the short or long-term performance of Infra Solutions.
• Support the creation and development of talent pipeline, succession planning and talent management for resources across the business, focusing on definition of key skillsets / skills matrix

   

  Strategic Planning

• Working closely with BRUSH’s Chief Strategy & Sustainability Officer, design and implement BRUSH Infrastructure Solutions’ strategy, ensuring it aligns with Group objectives.
• Working with CTO, identify mid- and long-term market and customer trends; advise the Group management team on such trends. Ensure all markets are covered, from critical infrastructure (NHS, MoD,…) to commercial and public sector (schools, local councils…)
• Leverage such market and customer insights to articulate the positioning and value of Infra Solutions.
• Identify potential gaps in portfolio and geographical footprint and propose (internal or external) solutions as required to ensure sustainable growth of the business.
• Identify and develop new business strategic opportunities, enhancing key business relationships, and expanding our customer reach.
• Actively participate in the identification and execution of M&A activities
