Job Summary:
The Document Controller will be responsible for the management and control of project documents ensuring their accuracy, quality, and compliance with standards and procedures. The role involves maintaining document control systems, ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of all documentation, and providing support to project teams.
In addition this role will be responsible for general office administration duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an organized and systematic approach to document management, ensuring all documents are stored and easily accessible in line with the company / contractual processes and procedures.
- Implement and enforce document control procedures, ensuring that documents are properly controlled, distributed, and filed.
- Ensure all documents comply with internal and external standards, including regulatory requirements and company policies as applicable.
- Manage document versions, ensuring that the latest versions are available and obsolete versions are archived.
- Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established formats and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure document control requirements are met. through the formal transmission and receipt of project documentation.
- Manage the document transmittal process between BRUSH and clients / suppliers in line with all company / third party systems and procedures
- Provide training and support to staff on document control processes and systems.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and records.
- Implement lessons learned from previous projects into the document control process.
- As part of continuous improvement, identify opportunities for process improvements in document control.
- Answer the telephone, manage post and meet and greet visitors to the office.
- Order stationary, buffets and other general items as the business requires.
- Be part of and support the SHE requirements and activities.

Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in document control or records management, preferably in an engineering environment
- General office administration experience
